New Orleans Saints Owner Pays Layaway's

The owner of the New Orleans Saints was a true saint for hundreds of Christmas shoppers in New Orleans when she paid off more than 400 layaway orders at a local Walmart.

Gayle Benson, the billionaire owner of the Saints and the NBA's Pelicans, paid nearly $100,000 to pay off customers' Christmas gifts.

Customers who came into the store to pay for their items were stunned to learn that the owner of their beloved football team had already taken care of it.

Benson had initially intended to remain anonymous, but the team later issued a statement saying, "This was a gift from Mrs. Benson for the holidays." (People)
