Classic Rock Nuggets-Fogerty's Woodstock Set

John Fogerty will perform the same set Creedence Clearwater Revival played at Woodstock at his Las Vegas residency in April.

Bohemian Rhapsody is now the ninth biggest-grossing movie of the year. It has reached $600 million worldwide. And "Bohemian Rhapsody" was the most searched song on Google this year.

Gene Simmons has congratulated Def Leppard on their election to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He tweets, “A classic band. Great songs...Wish there were more bands with guitars in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It is, after all, rock ‘n’ roll.”

Robert Plant will be back on the road next year with European dates in June and July.

Elton John got Khalid to join him for the live performance of “Young, Dumb and Broke” that has been released in the Spotify Singles series. Elton says, “It's a thrill to be a small part of any new artist’s journey, and it's been wonderful to see his star continue to rise and rise…’Young Dumb and Broke’ is a fabulous song, one of my favorites, and I'm really pleased that he liked my cover enough to contribute vocals."

Pearl Jam have issued an official video for their cover of "Search and Destroy" by Iggy and the Stooges from their August 10th show in Seattle. Fellow Seattle icons Kim Thayil of Soundgarden and Mark Arm and Steve Turner of Mudhoney played with them on the song.

Tommy Lee and his son Brandon have apparently made up after fighting in real life (and social media) all year. The Motley Crue drummer posted a photo of them hugging with the caption "I love you, son."

Master of Puppets by Metallica was voted Best Album of the 1980s by the readers of Louder. Guns n' Roses'  Appetite for Destruction came in second with AC/DC's Back in Black in third.

Neil Young will do five solo concerts next month -- Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 23rd; Madison, Wisconsin on the 24th; and at three different venues in Minneapolis on the 26th, 28th and 29th. And Young and Bob Dylan will play another European date together -- July 14th in Kilkenny, Ireland.

This song was Vietnam time.  When I was in Okinawa Evac hospital  1969 one of the amputees jumped of of bed and danced with one leg to this.  The ward master sergeant walked in, saw him rocking on one leg and said, Hey get back in your bed or I;ll have them cut your other leg off!  We all laughed.  He laughed.
