WOODSTOCK 2019 Marks the 50th Anniversary

New York State's Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association is getting a head start on the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock festival, which was held in Bethel, New York.

It will install dozens of fiberglass dove statues -- a nod to the dove on the festival's poster -- around the county by mid-June.

But unlike the dove on the poster, which is white, local artists will be commissioned to paint them in colors reminiscent of the 1960s.

There should be more news about the iconic festival's 50th anniversary as promoter Michael Lang tells us there are plans in place to commemorate those three days of "peace and love."
