Sting is using his appearance on FOX’s New Year’s Eve With Steve Harvey to debut a new take on the title track to his Brand New Day album.
He tweeted, "I’ll be performing a new '2019 Version' of the song on Steve Harvey’s NYE special on FOX. The new version, produced by Dave Aude, will be available for download and streaming at the same time."
The song and album mark their 20th anniversary in 2019. The original "Brand New Day" features harmonica by Stevie Wonder and won Sting a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 2000.
