Classic Rock Nuggets-Ann Wilson's New Video

Ann Wilson has released a video of her cover of Audioslave’s "I Am the Highway" in tribute to that band’s late singer, Chris Cornell. It’s off her recent album, Immortal, which is a collection of covers by her favorite dead artists.

Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody will be released on digital services on January 22nd, followed by physical versions (Blu-ray and DVD) on February 12th.

Roger Waters posted a lengthy New Year message: “I’m sitting here surrounded by my beautiful family, well fed and watered, and not at ease. I am consumed with feelings of loss and pain. My brothers and sisters all over the world are being slaughtered and sacrificed on the altar of the greed of all the Oligarchs in all the developed and underdeveloped countries all over the world…”

Sammy Hagar rang in 2019 on stage at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with his buddy, country singer Toby Keith.

Dickey Betts made his first public appearance since he had a stroke followed by brain surgery from a separate incident when he joined The Devon Allman Project for a New Year’s Eve concert in his old stomping grounds of Macon, Georgia. The band, led by Gregg Allman’s son, features Dickey’s son, Duane Betts. Dickey took the stage to ring in 2019 and then to play on The Allman Brothers’ “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.”

Nikki Sixx has a cameo in the new animated video from John 5 and the Creatures called "Zoinks." The clip is a parody of Scooby Doo cartoons.
