Robert Plant No New Honeydrippers

R. Plant

Last month, when Robert Plant was photographed in London's Abbey Road Studio alongside Nile Rodgers, there was speculation that they were collaborating on a new Honeydrippers album. They first collaborated on that project in 1984.

But it turns out that Plant was there to record vocals for a new album from Rodgers, who says, "When I was first diagnosed with cancer, the doctor told me to contemplate life. I was, like, 'I'm going to do more collaborations that I've ever done before, more concert shows than I've ever done.' And that's what I'll continue to do."

Also helping out Rodgers on the disc are Bruno Mars and Jorja Smith.
