THE WHO: What's Next?

After taking 2018 off, The Who may get back to work this year, but the question is: What to do?

Roger Daltrey tells Billboard, "It's really, really difficult. I’m 75 [on March 1st]; I just feel like doing something different, but I don't know what. So there you go."

The one thing Daltrey says The Who won't do is take part in any of the Woodstock 50th anniversary shows in August. "August in America is too hot for me to work anymore... You can't redo Woodstock because the stars of Woodstock were the audience. You can celebrate the date, but you can't redo [the festival]. Nobody's approached us about it, anyway, but I really wouldn't be interested in something like that."

Daltrey does have some solo dates on the books, including next month's Rock Legends Cruise. He also hopes to release an album of his orchestral Tommy tour from last year.
