Bob Dylan and Martin Scorsese have teamed up for another film project.
Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese will debut on Netflix this year. And like in 2005's No Direction Home, Dylan sat down for an interview about the 1975-76 tour that gives the documentary its name.
Variety quotes a source as saying, “There’s a reason the word story appears in the title,” implying that it's not a straight-ahead documentary. Netflix says it "captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975 and the joyous music that Dylan performed during the fall of that year. Part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream, Rolling Thunder is a one-of -a-kind experience, from master filmmaker Martin Scorsese.”
