THE WHO: Announce 2019 Tour

Who tour

The Who have announced their 2019 Moving On tour.

The spring and fall dates have Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend playing arenas, stadiums and amphitheaters backed by orchestras from each town or area they perform in.

Pete says, "Roger christened this tour Moving On! I love it. It is what both of us want to do. Move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose. Looking forward to seeing you all.  Are you ready?"

And Daltrey adds, "Be aware Who fans! Just because it's The Who with an orchestra, in no way will it compromise the way Pete and I deliver our music. This will be full throttle Who with horns and bells on.”

The first leg starts on May 7th in Grand Rapids, Michigan and goes through June 1st in Toronto, with the fall outing going from September 6th in St. Paul, Minnesota through October 23rd in Edmonton, Alberta. Tickets go on sale Friday at LiveNation.com.

Also promised this year is their first album in 13 years, but we'll have to see how that goes -- they haven't even started recording yet.
