LED ZEPPELIN: Page Introducing New-Old Guitar Amp

J. Page amp

Jimmy Page is celebrating this year's 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin's debut album by releasing a limited-edition amplifier aimed at replicating the sounds he got on that groundbreaking recording.

Called Sundragon, it's a faithful re-creation of the Supro Coronado he used on the self-titled Led Zeppelin album. He modified that original amp after it fell out of the band's van during a pre-Zeppelin tour, and it became something new and unique. After half a century, he's decided to share its sound with the world.

The limited-edition run of 50 hand-built amps will be made throughout 2019, and each one will be signed by Page. A standard production run of the amp will be available later in the year.

The amp will be on display at the Sundragon Amps booth at this week's NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. For more info, go to SundragonAmp.com.
