THE WHO Record in Mark Knopfler's Studio

The Who started recording their new album Saturday when they gathered in London at Mark Knopfler' s British Grove Studios.

Roger Daltrey was not on hand, as he is taking some time off before heading to Florida next week to board the Rock Legends Cruise in Fort Lauderdale. So Saturday was devoted to backing tracks until Daltrey joins them at the end of the month.

Pete Townshend is capturing the proceedings on video and on Saturday he shot footage of him greeting the other musicians, which included his brother, guitarist Simon Townshend , bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Zak Starkey .
