Peter Fonda will mark the 50th anniversary of Easy Rider with a screening and Q&A session at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee on April 5th. The film’s soundtrack includes The Band's "The Weight, "Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" and "The Pusher," “The Ballad of Easy Rider” by The Byrds and Jimi Hendrix's "If 6 Was 9."

David Lee Roth is portrayed by young TV actor Christian Gehring in the Motley Crue movie The Dirt, which premieres on Netflix on March 22nd.

Mike Grose, who briefly played bass in the band that became Queen, has died. Drummer Roger Taylor says, “So sad to hear about my old friend, who I first heard in a band called The Individuals when we were both still at school. He always sounded huge. RIP.” The band’s onetime tour manager,Gerry Stickells, also died this week. Taylor says, “He was more than a tour manager to Queen -- he was a father figure, great friend and teacher and an island of calm in the midst of chaos. He had a profound effect on my life, all of it good.” Stickells also worked with Jimi Hendrix and Paul McCartney.

AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has sold his New Zealand mansion for $2.71 million.
