Record Store Day Is Saturday

Almost 400 items -- mostly on vinyl -- will be released this Saturday for Record Store Day, a celebration of independent record shops. Among them are:

Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young-4 Way Street (Expanded Edition)- three-LP. The 1992 reissue of this classic album comes to vinyl with 10 bonus tracks.  

Bob Dylan-Blood on the Tracks: Original New York Test Pressing- LP. This is the original album before Dylan decided to re-record half of it in Minneapolis in late 1974. 

Peter Gabriel-Rated PG- LP. A collection of the many songs Gabriel has done for films over the years.

Elton John-Live From Moscow- two-LP. This concert was original broadcast on the BBC on May 28th, 1979.

Brian May- "New Horizons" - 12-inch single. Two remixes of the track done as a tribute to the NASA New Horizons team who successfully orchestrated the most distant encounters ever by the human race.

Pearl Jam-Live at Easy Street- LP. The 2019 Record Store Day Ambassadors reissue their 2005 performance at Seattle's Easy Street Records.

U2-The Europa EP- 12-inch single. This contains a live performances and remixes of "New Year's Day" and 'Love Is All We Have Left."

Def Leppard-The Story So Far Volume 2 / B-Sides- two-LP. This collects deep tracks and B-sides from the band's career and was previously released only on CD last November.

There are also special releases from The Allman Brothers, David Bowie, Cheap Trick, Eric Clapton, Alice Cooper, The Doors, ELP, Fleetwood Mac, Jerry Garcia, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Starship, Jethro Tull, Billy Joel, John Lennon, Robert Johnson, Janis Joplin, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd, The Police, Iggy Pop, Procol Harum, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Roxy Music, Todd Rundgren, Rush, Leon Russell, Joe Strummer, Ten Years After, Dennis Wilson and Yes.
