NEIL YOUNG: High Fidelity

Neil Young has co-authored a book about his efforts to "improve the quality of the audio that you hear."

To Feel the Music: A Songwriter's Quest to Save High-Quality Audio was co-written with Phil Baker. Young says it "takes you through how the sound was -- and is -- compromised by the tech and record companies. Instead of improving over time like other technologies, it has become worse."

He covers the Pono service that he created as well as Xstream high resolution streaming, which is used for the Neil Young Archives.

He adds, "The issue of improving audio quality has been one of the most important things we’ve been doing for decades, and something I focus on every day."

The book will be published September 9th.
