BRIAN WILSON & ZOMBIES: Late Summer Tour

Brian Wilson and The Zombies are hooking up for a late summer tour.

Dubbed Something Great from ’68, it starts on August 31st at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and, after 12 shows west of the Mississippi, it concludes with three shows in the east, with the final night being September 26th in New York.

Wilson's set will primarily be made up of songs from two of his favorite Beach Boys albums, 1968’s Friends and 1971’s Surf’s Up.

“It’s been quite a year and I’m ready to go out and tour some music that makes everyone have a feel good vibe,” says Wilson. “The Friends album has always been one of my favorites, and I love the music from that time in history.”

And The Zombies will open each show by doing 1968'sOdessey and Oracle in its entirety. Joining original members Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone-- with the exception of the first two shows -- are the band's other co-founders Chris White and Hugh Grundy.
