SAMMY HAGAR: Gets His First Top 10 Solo Album

Sammy Hagar has his first Top 10 album as a solo artist as Space Between, the first studio disc withThe Circle, debuts at number-four on the Billboard 200.

In its first week out, 40,000 copies were sold, which was helped by Sammy doing what he says were more interviews for it then he has done in the last 10 years, along with a copy given away for every ticket sold to his tour.

Commenting on the achievement, Sammy tells us, "Having this kind of success from the fans at this stage of my career is such an incredible surprise. As a band we loved every minute spent making this record. We knew it was something special but had no idea if the rock community would feel the same way as we did about it. What a validation!”
