Neil Young and Promise of the Real are the latest act to run into curfew problems at theBottle Rock Festivalin Napa, California.
They were headlining on Saturday night and had a strict 10:00 p.m. cutoff because of houses near the festival site. Young and the band were playing"Rockin' in the Free World" when a crew member rushed out on stage, likely to tell him they were about hit curfew. A minute later the sound was cut from the stage. The audience started singing loudly until Young finally stopped and waved goodnight from the stage.
Young isn't the first artist to run into this problem at Bottle Rock-- both Foo Fighters andThe Cure had the plug pulled on their sound at previous festivals.
