Last year, apart fromThe Who, Roger Daltrey did an orchestral tour of Tommy. Last Friday he released an album documenting those shows. The Who's Tommy Orchestralappears a little more than 50 years after the original:

The album was recorded on the first night of the tour, at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, on the grounds of the original Woodstock where The Who performedTommy in 1969.
The orchestra on the album, however, is not the one that performed that night. Due to a dispute over fees, the Hudson Valley Philharmonic was removed and replaced:
