Boz Scaggs has postponed all of the July dates on his Out of the Blues tour due to unspecified health issues. Scaggs, who is 75, has been told by doctors not to travel, that he needs rest to recuperate from whatever is ailing him.
He's already canceled recent shows, as well as his July 4th outdoor date at Camden, New Jersey's Freedom Festival. (Burton Cummings will fill in for Scaggs at that show.)
Boz says on his Facebook page, "Playing for you all is my greatest joy. I hate to disappoint you. I am going to follow doctor's orders so I can get back out on the road as soon as possible. Looking forward to seeing you all then."
