U2 Live Recording Found from 1979

A U2 live recording from August 11th, 1979 that has surfaced is believed to be the earliest document of the band. Previously, the earliest U2 show in circulation was from October 22nd of that year.

Pete McCluskey, from another Dublin band,The Stougers, captured the performance one afternoon at the city's Dandelion Market.

Four of the songs ("Out of Control," "Stories for Boys," "Another Time, Another Place" and "Shadows and Tall Trees") would end up on the band's first album, 1980's Boy.
