Last Wednesday marked 50 years since the death of Rolling Stones founder and guitarist Brian Jones.
At their show that night in Landover, Maryland, they performed Don Covay's "Mercy, Mercy" for the first time since July 5th, 1969 in London's Hyde Park. That show was meant to introduce Mick Taylor, who had replaced the fired Jones. But when Jones drowned in his pool two days earlier it became a tribute.
