GREGG ALLMAN: Solo Debut Gets Reissue

Two Gregg Allman reissues are on the way August 30th.

Laid Back: Deluxe Edition will be reissued as a two-disc set and digitally. Allman's first solo album has been remastered and expanded with 26 bonus tracks, 13 of them previously unreleased. One of those tracks, a solo demo of "These Days," is at all digital platforms now. The 1973 album, which included Allman's hit remake of The Allman Brothers Band's "Midnight Rider," will also be reissued on vinyl.

The Gregg Allman Tour has been out of print on vinyl for over 30 years, and it'll be reissued as a two-record set and digitally. It was recorded at Carnegie Hall in New York on April 10th and 11th, 1974, and at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey on April 13th 1974. It featured Allman backed by the band Cowboy and a 24-piece orchestra.
