WOODSTOCK: Guess Who They Wanted to Close the 69 Fest?

Woodstock founder and promoter Michael Lang signed just about every act he wanted for the festival, which was held 50 years ago this week in Bethel, New York (August 15th-18th). But there were two he wish he could have gotten -- one was John Lennon:

And while Jimi Hendrix was signed to close the festival, if Lang had his wish, there would have been one more act to follow him.

The final day of Woodstock '94 in Saugerties, New York was today -- August 14th, 1994.Woodstock kicked off 25 years earlier on August 15th, 1969.
