FOREIGNER: A Takeaway From the Reunion

Not only do Foreigner have four shows next month with members of the original lineup, they have a special release on the way. Double Vision: Then and Now, a live recording captured in the fall of 2017 in Michigan, will be out on November 15th.

The band's current lineup joined forces with original members Lou Gramm, Al Greenwood, Dennis Elliott and Ian McDonald, along with Rick Wills, who joined for their third album, 1979's Head Games, and Foreigner founder and guitarist Mick Jones. The result is a video and audio package that will be available in numerous configurations -- CD-DVD, CD-Blu-ray, a limited-edition two-LP, one Blu-ray set, and a digital edition.

Jones says, “This was a show that I will always remember! Sharing the stage with the guys that shaped Foreigner in the beginning and the stellar musicians that carry the flag in the new millennium was a truly emotional moment.”

Old and new will come together again next month for four shows:

  • 10/3 - Unasville, CT - Mohegan Sun Arena
  • 10/4 - Atlantic City, NJ - Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
  • 10/12 - Tuolumne, CA - Black Oak Casino
  • 10/13 - Ridgefield, WA - Ilani Casino Resort
