The Police will re-release Every Move You Make: The Studio Recordingsas a six-disc CD or vinyl collection on November 8th. It contains the trio’s five studio albums (Outlandos d'Amour, Reggatta de Blanc, Zenyatta Mondatta, Ghost in the Machine and Synchronicity) and Flexible Strategies, a disc of B-sides.

Girl From the North Country, the musical based on the songs of Bob Dylan, will begin previews at the Belasco Theater in New York on February 7th, with the premiere set for March 5th.

Dead & Company will wrap up the year with four shows in California -- December 27th and 28th in Inglewood and December 30th and 31st in San Francisco.

David Crosby joined his favorite band,Steely Dan, Tuesday night at the Santa Barbara Bowl. He provided background vocals to “Home at Last” and played rhythm guitar on “Reelin’ in the Years.” He called the experience a “lifetime dream.”
