Steve Miller posted another video from his Welcome to the Vault box set -- a 1982 performance of "Abracadabra" at Pine Knob in Clarkston, Michigan.Welcome to the Vault will be out on October 11th. 

When Bob Weir and Wolf Bros. performed at his Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California Wednesday, they only played songs written by Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, who died earlier in the week. On Thursday, Weir’s neighbor Sammy Hagar sat in on three songs – “Big Boss Man,” “Franklin’s Tower” and “Loose Lucy.”

Robbie Robertson will perform a song from his new album, Sinematic, withThe Roots Wednesday on The Tonight Show on NBC.

If the 50th-anniversary edition ofAbbey Roaddebuts at number-one on the British chart, it would be The Beatles' first number-one album since the 2000 compilation1. It's on target to do so.

Pete Townshend will take part in a benefit performance of The Who’s Tommy at the La Jolla [pr: HOY-a] Playhouse in La Jolla, California on October 14th. The Tony-winning Broadway musical had its premiere there in 1992. The event will benefit the Playhouse’s artistic, education and outreach programs.
