The Fleetwood Mac member whose departure led to Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joining the group figured in Sunday's episode of the animated FOX TV series Family Guy.
In the segment, Peter (the show's title character) takes the family on a Yacht Rock cruise and finds out from a bellboy that Bob Welch isn't on board "because he died in 2012."
Peter goes to his room to reflect on Welch's death by playing "Sentimental Lady," a song Welch recorded with Fleetwood Mac and then had a Top 10 hit with as a solo artist in 1977.
