David Gilmour of Pink Floyd made a rare stage appearance Monday night at London's Royal Albert Hall to help Richard Thompson celebrate his 70th birthday.
Gilmour sang lead on Thompson's"Dimming of the Day"-- a song he's done at solo shows in the past -- as well as "Fat Old Sun," a track from Floyd's Atom Heart Mother. Watch the performance of "Dimming of the Day" on YouTube.
