For the longest time, whenever anyone close to Eric Clapton died he wouldn't make a public statement.
That changed a few years ago -- he posted acoustic guitar tributes to Jack Bruce, John Wetton, Allen Toussaint, Prince and others.
But when his Cream and Blind Faith bandmate Ginger Baker died Sunday at the age of 80, Clapton paid him no public notice. But that silence has been broken with two simple posts on Facebook.
The first is a video of Cream performing the drum showcase "Toad" at London's Royal Albert Hall in 2005. And the second is a black and white photo of Baker under a sign that says "Whistle." Both posts are captioned simply "Ginger..."
