The latest release from the live Bruce Springsteen archives goes back to 20 years ago this month.
The October 23rd, 1999 showin Los Angeles is the last time Springsteen played at the Staples Center, a decision most fans think came after he'd commented about the luxury boxes throughout the venue during his other three shows there that week. The concert includes a very rare solo version of "The Promise,"only the second performance of "Blinded by the Light" in 25 years and a cover of "California Sun" during "Light of Day."
