The Doobie Brothers have finally announced what we first reported earlier this year -- a residency in Las Vegas next year.
They will play the Venetian Theater at the Venetian Resort for eight nights -- February 7th, 8th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 21st and 22nd.
Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 am PT.
This engagement is part of their 50th anniversary plans, which include the publication of an autobiography, new music and, possibly, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
- Other artists who have done Vegas residencies include the Eagles,Santana, Billy Idol, KISS ,Aerosmith, Def Leppard,Rod Stewart,Journey,Foreigner and Elton John.
