Def Leppard are the latest act to get their own Funko Pop dolls. The Funko websited doesn't say when the dolls will go on sale.

A 1975 cassette of Lou Reed demos inspired by the bookThe Philosophy of Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again was discovered in the archives of the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. Warhol managed The Velvet Underground in the 1960s and received producer credit on the band’s debut album.

The Rolling Stones release a deluxe 50th-anniversary deluxe edition of Let it Bleed today (Friday).

Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, has hired Andrew Loog Oldham, who was The Rolling Stones’ first manager and producer, to lecture in a 13-week course called Rock Dreams: A History, 1954-1984, which begins in January. Oldham has published several books about his adventures in 1960s rock and roll.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO releases a new album, From Out of Nowhere, today (Friday).

A new Bon Jovisong, “Unbroken,” was released at midnight Thursday. It was written for To Be of Service, a documentary about war veterans and their service dogs. All proceeds from downloads of the track will be donated to the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation.
