Jagger's Solo Catalog, Mott, Spinal Tap and More Rock Nuggets

Mick Jagger’s solo catalog is being reissued on 180-gram, half-speed mastered vinyl on December 6th. The four albums are She's the Boss, Primitive Cool, Wandering Spirit and Goddess in the Doorway.

Mott the Hoople’s 50th anniversary has brought forth a new compilation album,The Golden Age of Rock ‘n’ Roll. The limited-edition two-disc collection of hits is on orange vinyl.

Pete Townshend says his new novel,The Age of Anxiety, out today (Tuesday) “won’t make you anxious! Hopefully it will encourage you to realize what makes us anxious makes us strong and creative.”

Harry Shearer,Christopher Guest,Michael McKean— a.k.a Spinal Tap— and director Rob Reiner have settled their differences with Universal Music Group over the soundtrack to This Is Spinal Tap. UMG will continue to distribute the soundtrack, but the rights will eventually revert to the four creators. Their lawsuit with the film's distributor, StudioCanal, continues.
