The Doobie Brothers have announced their 50th anniversary tour, which, for the first time in 25 years, includes Michael McDonald.
The band performed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Monday night and McDonald joined them during the encore for“Takin’ It To The Streets,” before Pat Simmons announced that the entire band would be teaming up for a North American tour.

The tour will kick off on June 9th in West Palm Beach, Florida. Tickets go on sale December 6th at 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com.
In addition to the tour, they've also been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and are currently third in the Fan Vote. There's also a book in the works, a Las Vegas residency (without McDonald) in February and an EP of new music.
Stops in Atlanta & Nashville in June.
