Ryan Reynolds recruited actress Monica Ruiz, best known as the wife in the controversial Peloton ad, for his own commercial.
Monica stars in a spot for the Dead pool star's Aviation Gin. She sits at a bar with two friends, looking dazed. One friend says, “We can get you another one, if you’d like.” The other friend says, “You’re safe here.”
“Exercise bike not included. #AviationGin,” Ryan wrote as a caption.
Backlash for the Peloton ad has gotten so bad that the actor who plays the husband who buys the exercise bike for his wife is getting death threats. Sean Hunter tells Good Morning America, “People turned it down a pretty dark path — it turned into a pretty nasty thing.”
