The company that's made dolls of Slash of Guns n' Roses, Paul Stanley of KISS, Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead and all the members of Metallica, among others, is being sued for the guitars that come with each figure.

Gibson has sued Funko for unauthorized use of its company's guitar designs. Law 360reports that the guitar company approached Funko about a retroactive licensing deal in October but they couldn't come to a deal. The suit says, "The misuse of the Gibson trademarks by Funko was intended to cause, has caused, and is likely to continue to cause, consumer confusion, mistake or deception including the misleading of consumers into mistakenly believing that the defendant’s unauthorized products are made directly by Gibson."
