Eddie Van Halen recently helped a dying man check off an item on his bucket list.
Michael Brewer of North Carolina has terminal cancer, and when he learned he wasn't long for this world, he put together a bucket list, which included flying a helicopter, learning to play guitar and meeting Eddie.
On Monday, Eddie made one of those wishes come true when he FaceTimed with Michael.
Michael’s wife Julie says, "Eddie and his wife Janie were simply amazing! Felt like we were sitting and chatting with a close friend!... Eddie still has the best smile.”
Michael, who also checked off the helicopter ride from his list, has gone public with his story because he wants to let people know important it is to go for a simple 45-second prostate examination.
