Original Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler says he no longer harbors any resentment towards his former bandmates for not giving him more of a role in their reunion, and that he'd like the original five to get together this year for some shows to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Appetite for Destruction this July.
In a 45 minute interview on the One On One With Mitch Lafon podcast, Adler says he recently "asked Slash if he would talk to Axl about playing Appetite...from beginning to end...[plus], like, 'Civil War', and maybe something…like 'Patience'… and record it, videotape it. And that's it, if that's all you wanna do. And if Axl's happy after that, then we could do more."
At this point, he obviously hasn't heard anything back yet on this idea.
