ZOMBIES: Rod Explains Why They'll Put Their Classic Album to Bed

Rod Argent understands that all good things must come to an end. He tells London's Express why The Zombies will do their final Odessey and Oracle shows this year.

The keyboardist-composer says, "We realized this year that it’s 50 years [since recording it], and we thought, ‘OK, we’ve got to draw a line under this somewhere.'" Even though he's "knocked out" that people still perceive the album "in such a fantastic light...it is basically 50 years ago, and we don’t want to keep looking back to it. We are proud of it, and we thought we’d have a big splash on it this year."

Beefed up by '60s members Hugh Grundy and Chris White, The Zombies kick off their North American schedule on March 17th in suburban Philadelphia.
