PINK FLOYD: Dark Side of the Concole

Pink Floyd fans and audiophiles take note -- the recording console from London's Abbey Road Studios that was used by engineer Alan Parsons on the making of The Dark Side of the Moon is for sale.

For you by-the-numbers technical geeks, the TG12345 MK 4 console is one of only two custom made by EMI engineers. It was also used on recordings by Paul McCartney and Wings, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Kate Bush.

Still in working order and accompanied by a letter of authenticity from former Abbey Road studio manager Ken Townsend, it will be sold at the Bonhams Rock and Roll Through the Lens sale in New York on March 27th.
