Mick Fleetwood is in Austin, Texas where he will speak at the South by Southwest Music Conference today (Wednesday).
In a conversation there with Billboard, he would not discuss the band's reported participation in the Classic East and Classic West festivals in July. But he did say that he has a "vision that next year we’ll probably be heading towards doing work as a band. We’re all in our 70s, and the band is 50 years old; there is a window and the window will close. That happens in all things in life. But until then, we carry on.”
Mick and John McVie played on the upcoming album by Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham, but Mick says they won't be going on the road together.
Sammy Hagar will speak at SXSW tomorrow (Thursday).
