Axl Rose's replacing Brian Johnson on AC/DC's European tour just cost a promoter in Spain some cash.
The city of Seville fined Live Nation's Spanish arm more than $16,000 for not issuing enough refunds to fans who wanted them after the change in singers was made ahead of the band's May 10th show.
Spanish consumers’ group FACUA says, "The replacement meant a substantial change in the conditions of the concert, and was a justified cause for claiming a refund. Live Nation assured they would ‘return money to those who asked for it’ without setting a deadline." But FACUA says that after large block of fans asked for a refund, the promoter stopped issuing them before the cutoff date.
