We can confirm the rumors about The Beatles reissuing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in June for its 50th anniversary. No one is talking on the record, but that will change soon, as the announcement is imminent.
The band's social media pages feature a color bar code that matches the colors of the military uniforms the Fabs are wearing on the iconic cover. Making this collection special, it will apparently contain "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Penny Lane," which were released as a double-A side single four months before Pepper came out on June 1st, 1967.
