Korn bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu is being replaced by a 12-year-old on the band's upcoming South American tour.
Not just any 12-year-old, but Tye Trujillo, the son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo. As you can probably guess, Tye's no slouch on the instrument, which he plays in the Northern California band The Helmets.
Blabbermouth reports that Korn cites "unforeseen circumstances" as the reason for Fieldy missing the six dates, which take place between April 17th and 27th. You can find some thundering video on YouTube of Tye Trujillo soloing on the Black Sabbath classic "N.I.B."
