Brian May Jams with Joe Walsh and Others

Brian May got to jam with his hero James Burton, as well as Joe Walsh and others, Tuesday night at the James Burton and Friendsbenefit concertin Nashville.

May did Queen's "Tie Your Mother Down," along with "Lost Horizon," before sitting in with Walsh on "Rocky Mountain Way." He also played on Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel" and joined former Chicago member Jason Scheff on "25 or 6 to 4."

Walsh also played on a version of Roy Orbison's "Pretty Woman" and joined Sammy Hagar on "Jailhouse Rock." And Hagar sang "Susie Q."

Proceeds from the show, which also featured Steve Cropper, Albert Lee, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter and Micky Dolenz, benefited the James Burton Foundation, which provides the gift of music and guitars to school programs, hospitals for children and veterans nationwide.
