Bruce Springsteen once again did a benefit for Boston College, which his oldest son Evan is a graduate of.
The show Saturday night at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey was a two-hour affair in which Bruce was backed by former Asbury Jukes guitarist Bobby Bandiera and his band, with E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg sitting in for half of it.
This was his fourth benefit for the school and first since 2011. It was also his first show inside the Pony since that same year. He did an a show on the Pony's outdoor stage this past summer.
And, as is the case with these types of shows, he did a few hits as well as some deeper cuts.
